Make-shift see-saw

We joke that we should go introduce ourselves to the ER on a healthy day. Tate is continually figuring out some way to entertain himself that is "out of the norm." He has no problem stacking things to be able to climb higher. He hangs from the deck and drops to to the ground. He climbs on the fence in the back to be able to see over the top into the front yard. He jumps from point A to point B to the horror of those watching! BUT he could not be more sturdy and solid on his landings. He jumped off the chair at my doctor appt the other day and kinda bumped his head. No harm done-paused for a minute but never cried or blinked hard. Steven and I just acknowledged it and that it didn't hurt him and I kept on talking/asking questions. But the dr had an obvious expression of concern. Afterwards we were laughing once again at what people must perceive as our fantastic parenting skills! They don't live with the boy though!!! He's fearless AND rarely is hurt to the extent of alarm.
This day he had a scrap piece of board that he put thru the dog pin and was riding/bouncing on it like you would do on one end of a see-saw. It is just so fascinating to me at what he discovers and is successful at accomplishing!
